Microchipping is safe, and the most effective way to reunite a missing pet with their family. This fund aims to provide cost-covered microchipping to Butte County residents so that if for any reason a pet is separated from their family, especially during an emergency, they can be scanned by responding personnel and returned as quickly as possible.
